I would like to welcome Cristina Mirza who has recently joined SMOps for a 5-month internship.

Cristina Mirza’s background

She is from the Republic of Moldova and studies International Sales and Marketing Management at Via University College in Denmark. For the past half a year, she came to the Netherlands as an exchange student for the minor Digital Business Practices at Fontys University to study. A minor which I co-developed and also lectured in.

Cristina was looking for an internship position. I’m glad to help and guide her towards the domain of marketing operations. She will be joining SMOps for a period of 5 months.

Next to the internship position, Cristina will be working on her final Bachelor thesis, as she will be graduating in January 2018.

The internship

During the internship at SMOps, Cristina will put in practice the skills she acquired during her Minor, which include Marketo. With the intern position, she will assist in creating and monitoring campaigns and landing pages in Marketo, as well as collaborating with internal stakeholders on marketing programs. . I’m coaching Cristina to pass het Marketo Certified Expert exam as soon as possible.

Are you a customer?

If you are a customer (for campaign management) and connected to the SMOps Helpdesk system, it just might be Cristina will pick up your request. She will work closely with me on every ticket. This mostly applies to the more simple tickets. I will still be handling all the custom and complex Marketo (campaign) requests. Please note Cristina is from Moldavia, attending a University in Denmark, and doing her internship in The Netherlands. This means she doesn’t speak any Dutch. Though Google Translate does provide some help, all communication will be in English. This might not be ideal for Dutch customers (though I’ll step in with Dutch if needed), but it certainly provides some value for the international customers.
